Paddy's Coffee House presents Cup and Saucer Night— A UFO Report When: Friday April 27, 2007 at 7 pm Ruben Uriarte, a long time Union City resident, and a loyal patron of Paddy's, will be presenting his report on UFO sightings in the Americas. Ruben is a graduate of Cal State University at Hayward with a degree in Psychology and Latin American Studies. He has been a member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) for over 20 years, is currently state director for Northern California, and also serves as liaison between MUFON and its Mexican counterpart, OMIFO. Ruben Uriarte has spoken at numerous UFO conferences and has been frequently interviewed on radio and television regarding UFOs. In 2005, he was featured in a History Channel documentary called Mexico's Roswell, and has a co-authored a book with Noe Torres about this same case—see www.mexicosroswell.com. Ruben will present the latest UFO sightings in Northern California and throughout the world. The French government has recently open their files regarding UFOs to the public and the former Arizona governor, Fife Symington has acknowledged that the mass UFO sighting in Phoenix on March 13,1997 that he aggressively debunked ten years ago was in fact real. |

The Union City Arts Council & The City of Union City present The 2nd Annual Fall Festival of Art and Wine This year's festival promises to be bigger and better!ÊThe Festival will be held in theÊOld Alvarado ParkÊon the west side of town along side the ongoing Saturday Farmers Market! The market generates anywhere from 500 to 1000 attendees so we anticipate high volume traffic for this event. The Fall Festival Committee is planning something for everyone including......live music.... Fun House for the kids, as well as great food and wine from local restaurants and wineries! Artists from around the area will be selling photography, oils, watercolor, mixed media, custom jewelry, pottery, custom wood crafts and more.Ê Logan High School students will also participate with a multicultural art display.
